Dr. Brett Lindsey, Au.D.

Dr. Brett Lindsey is an audiologist serving at our Lutherville location, as well as Broadmead Retirement Community and Edenwald Senior Living. He joined our team as a fourth-year audiology resident under the supervision of Dr. Rory Cernik and Dr. Donald Guillen, and earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Towson University.

Dr. Lindsey’s commitment to audiology is rooted in personal experience. He was born with hearing loss in his right ear and wears a hearing aid himself. His firsthand understanding of hearing loss, and the learning curve involved in adjusting to hearing aids, allows him to connect with his patients on a deep level and to approach their care with genuine empathy. He is driven each day by an important goal: to help as many people as he can to hear better, and to make a positive impact in his patients’ lives, both clinically and personally.

A native of Bel Air, Maryland, Dr. Lindsey graduated from C. Milton Wright High School before attending the University of Delaware, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cognitive Science and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology. Outside of the office, he cherishes time spent with family and friends, stays active playing sports, and enjoys going to the gym. He is an avid golfer, a movie buff, and describes himself as a lifelong learner with many interests. For Dr. Lindsey, audiology isn’t just a career – it’s a calling shaped by his own journey, and one he’s honored to share with every patient who walks into the Hearing Assessment Center.
